Children with special needs🌸

As humans, we often like to criticise people and to draw conclusions without having any knowledge about it whatsoever.

I’ve witnessed societies that don’t believe that a child/person could have disabilities normally. They believe that a certain things/circumstances caused it to happen or they think it’s caused by some irrelevant superstitions. Some of these societies happens to be Muslims and at the same time we seem to have forgotten that anything is possible by the permission of Allah and that he only says “be” and it becomes.

Usually, when we see a child that is born/developed disabilities we refer to it(disability) as “craziness” or “sickness” by following it making dua(praying) and warning others from that child. Thus, we end up treating them differently. In other words, we don’t treat them like “normal” people.

But I believe that children with different disabilities are special, if the child has autism or is blind or deaf or has any another disability. They’re special. Allah chose them to be this way, and maybe what you see or refer to it as a sickness or problem may be a blessing. That child is like any other child, he/she shouldn’t be differentiated or treated differently than the other children. And we shouldn’t teach the children they live with that they’re sick or not normal. This hurts them and they’ll feel out of place.

Also know that Allah does not give the responsibility to these children except special and chosen ones. If you’re living or staying with them or even know them, know that you’re lucky and that you might get a lot of ajar(reward) by just being kind to them or treating them in a good way. Because if you do this, I promise to you that you’ll be one of the closest or loved person according to that child.
